Punto 4.3 Manutenzione e segnaletica:DAEs must been subjected to functional testing, to controls and periodical maintenance in accordance to the deadlines on the user guide and in compliance with the current electo-medicals devices regulations.

The DAEs must be kept under operating conditions; the battery must have enough charge in order to ensure the DAE's functioning; the electrode adesive pads  must be replaced before the expiry date. The DAE's owners can fix arrangements with Healthcare Companies or with Private Parties to ensure that they provide for the maintenance by putting the costs charged to the owner.
